GogoPlus Limited is a pharmacy infrastructure company incorporated in Ghana. We operate the GogoPlus mobile application and website (gogoplusonline.com), which connect patients and caregivers to accredited pharmacies across Ghana.

GogoPlus Limited is the data controller responsible for your personal information collected through the GogoPlus platform.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account details: your name, phone number, and email address when you register.
• Delivery address: your location or address when placing an order.
• Prescription images: photos of prescriptions you upload through the app.
• Insurance details: your NHIS number or private health insurance information if you choose to add it.
• Payment information: Mobile Money number, card details, or wallet transactions. Full card details are processed by our payment providers and not stored on GogoPlus servers.
• Communications: messages you send to GogoPlus support.

Information collected automatically:

• Device information: device type, operating system, and app version.
• Location data: approximate location to show nearby pharmacies, if you grant permission.
• Usage data: pages visited, searches made, orders placed, and app interactions, used to improve the platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your GogoPlus account.
• Show you medicine availability at nearby partner pharmacies.
• Process and fulfill your medicine orders.
• Transmit your prescription securely to your selected pharmacy.
• Send your insurance details to partner pharmacies for claims processing.
• Process payments and maintain transaction records.
• Send order confirmations, delivery updates, and support responses.
• Improve the GogoPlus platform and user experience.
• Comply with applicable Ghanaian laws and regulations.

We do not use your health information, prescriptions, or insurance details for marketing purposes.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

GogoPlus does not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Partner pharmacies: When you place an order, your name, delivery address, prescription, and insurance details are shared with the pharmacy fulfilling your order. Pharmacies receive only what is necessary to process and dispense your order.
• Delivery partners: Your name and delivery address are shared with logistics providers coordinating delivery of your order.
• Payment processors: Payment details are handled by regulated third-party payment processors. GogoPlus does not store full card or Mobile Money credentials.
• Legal and regulatory authorities: Where required by Ghanaian law, a court order, or regulatory authority — including the Pharmacy Council of Ghana or law enforcement — we may disclose relevant information.

All third parties who receive your data are required to handle it securely and only for the purpose for which it was shared.

5. Health and Prescription Data

Prescription images and any health information you share with GogoPlus are treated with the highest level of care. This data is:

• Transmitted using encryption.
• Shared only with the pharmacy you select to fulfill your order.
• Not used for advertising, profiling, or sold to third parties.
• Accessible only to authorised GogoPlus staff where necessary for platform operations or support.

GogoPlus does not analyse prescription content for any purpose other than transmitting it to your chosen pharmacy.

6. Insurance Information

If you add health insurance details to your account, this information is stored securely and used only to:

• Pre-fill your insurance details when you place an order.
• Transmit your insurance information to the partner pharmacy processing your order and insurance claim.

GogoPlus does not share your insurance information with any party other than the pharmacy fulfilling your order.

7. Payment Information

GogoPlus uses regulated third-party payment processors to handle all financial transactions. We do not store full card numbers or Mobile Money PINs on our servers. We retain transaction records — including amounts, payment methods, and order references — for accounting, dispute resolution, and legal compliance purposes.

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain transaction records.

If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

9. How We Protect Your Data

GogoPlus uses industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) between the app, website, and our servers.
• Encrypted storage of sensitive data including prescriptions and insurance details.
• Access controls limiting which GogoPlus team members can view personal data.
• Regular security reviews of our systems.

10. Your Rights

Under the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information GogoPlus holds about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

• Withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana if you believe your rights have been violated.

11. Children's Privacy

GogoPlus is not intended for use by children under the age of 18 without parental or guardian involvement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of GogoPlus after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
